Annette Todd | Assistant Practise Manager

Annette Todd has been the Assistant Practice Manager with ABKJ Lawyers since 2021. Hailing from the UK, Annette’s career in office administration began as an office junior in 1975 at W H Smith’s Head Office in London where she received unique training across all areas of accounts, retail operations, customer complaints and trading standards divisions.

At heart a Londoner, Annette left W H Smith when the office relocated to Swindon, Wiltshire in 1986. She commenced work that year at Slaughter and May, the pre-eminent law firm at the time and to this day remaining one of London’s most prestigious top tier firms. Starting out as a legal secretary, Annette’s enthusiasm to learn new skills and her adaptability found her working for senior partners across several practice areas and departments in the firm over a period of more than 12 years.

After emigrating to the Gold Coast, Annette returned to working in law in 2005 joining a firm that through several evolutions had Annette covering all aspects of law firm life ranging from reception to finance, paralegal to management.

Annette’s many and varied skills, her knowledge of law firm administration, her eye for detail and her enthusiasm make her a valued part of the ABKJ Lawyers team.
