After graduating Bond University with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce Cate commenced her career as a lawyer and was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 1995. She was soon drawn to the business world which saw her develop a diverse range of commercial skills including marketing international brands and managing a diverse range of businesses, including property, viticulture and professional services.
Underpinning Cate’s professionalism is a focus on supporting people, performance and client outcomes. Her extensive governance and operational experience is applied to develop and implement strategic initiatives, ensure compliance and refine systems to generate efficiencies.
In addition to raising four children on the Gold Coast, Cate is a nationally accredited mediator with experience in family and workplace matters. In her spare time Cate can be found in or near the ocean or with her dogs.
