“Whilst being a good lawyer means you need to have a good knowledge of the law, you also need to be focussed on practical outcomes. I sometimes like to think we all have the law in our left hand, and the practical realities of life in our right hand. Sometimes the two just don’t mix. I think to have a good lawyer is to have someone to provide you with the best advice, taking into account the law and what the best outcome for you is.”
