Nicola Frame
As the Practice Manager at ABKJ Lawyers, Nicola Frame is responsible for managing the firm’s operations, finances and payroll, human resources, business development and information technology functions. She works closely with the firm’s Partners to ensure smooth running of the practice, alignment with the firm’s goals and optimising the client experience to ensure the firm adheres to its purpose of delivering quality service with dedicated personal attention.
Nicola is a qualified lawyer with degrees in law and business. She was admitted to practice as a solicitor in NSW in 2004 and Queensland in 2006. Nicola has worked in law firms in Papua New Guinea, Hong Kong, Sydney and the Gold Coast in legal and senior management roles. She also worked as an in-house lawyer in Brisbane. Born and raised in Papua New Guinea, after some years away Nicola returned to PNG with her young family to work in operations management with an international development company. Invaluable skills acquired through her various management roles in Australia and overseas combined with her legal acumen vests Nicola with a wide range of international experience in law and business that she brings to her position as Practice Manager with ABKJ Lawyers. She is passionate about improving productivity and refining systems and processes to turn workplace challenges into opportunities for the benefit of employees and clients while fostering organisational culture and managing inevitable change through a consultative, collaborative and communicative approach.
Nicola is a member of the Queensland Law Society, the Australasian Legal Practice Managers Association (ALPMA) and the Gold Coast District Law Association (GCDLA). She is a past member of the NSW Law Society and a former Registered Trade Marks Attorney.
